A man who had been in hospital for nearly three weeks was found dead Tuesday in the village of Fyndham in north-east England, police said.
The man was taken to the Royal Free Hospital in London after being admitted on Dec. 15, the Hampshire Constabulary said in a statement.
He was pronounced dead shortly after 8 a.m.
The cause of death is not yet known.
The man had been hospitalized since March due to a serious heart condition and was in the process of receiving medical treatment, police added.
He had a history of drug abuse and had been released from hospital in May.
