The state government has said that the center, set to open in March 2018, will help improve the health of its population.
“It’s a major milestone in the health care system in India.
We have made major progress,” Suresh Goyal, the health minister, told the BBC.”
I believe that this center will bring more and more people, including the elderly, to our state,” he said, according to an audio recording of the interview released by the state broadcaster.
Goyal added that it was a positive development for Bengaluru.
“We are a very progressive city,” he added.
