It can happen when a medical emergency happens, such as a person has a heart attack, a stroke, or an infection.
You might be asked to come in for an emergency consultation.
You may need to go to a hospital, or you might need to get a taxi.
You can’t get help from your GP or hospital.
Emergency care can be a lifesaving activity.
It may include: a medical appointment with a doctor to get your medical history, and to determine if you need further testing
